Cataclysm Secret: Freshest Guide To Statistics And Changes

Cataclysm Secret The New Guide To Control And Stat Changes
As most of you know, Blizzcon last year specifically stated and posted on the official forums that they will have some major changes in the last patch World of Warcraft to be added to Cataclysm.
These major changes also affect the statistics of the most familiar characters such as Defense, Intellect, and Armor Penetration among other stat changes were made to make it easier to understand and make choices in the process making it more interesting. As these changes will certainly have a huge impact on how stats work and communicate with them, take a look at what is in store for the players and the reasoning behind it before coming Cataclysm.
Stats in Equipments:
Endurance – No plaque characters have more energy than before. Pools between health promoters and plates bearing plates will now be much closer.
Intellect – Intellect will now give spell power and also provide less mana than before.
Haste – Haste becomes more attractive for melee classes by allowing them to retrieve resources such as energy and runes at a faster pace.
Block rating- Block is redesigned to scale better, meaning blocked attacks will hit for damage that is at most 30%. Block Rating will also improve your blocking chances.
Parry – It now provides over 100% and no avoidance speeds thus more attacks. Instead, when you parry an attack, and attack the next hit dealing 50% damage. Dodge is a chance to avoid with 100% of the attacks of the enemy while avoiding it. Parry only deals 50% damage from both attacks compared to block that prevents at least 30% of attack damage.
Mastery – This is a new stat that allows players to be better at everything that makes their talent tree cool and unique.
Armor – While the average Armor reduces, the damage has not changed, the Armor stat has been rebalanced to complement the changes in the new update of Cataclysm. Following this stat changed Armor might lower slightly. Blizzard is changing the way that other types of armor reduce damage in this case, like the plate will not provide much protection as leather, mail and cloth.
Resilience – This stat will only affect the damage caused by the players and the critical damage done by players.
Strength, Agility, Hit Rating, Expertise and Critical Strike Rating – These statistics will still appear on the equipments.
Stats Withdrawn Items:
Attack Power – this statistic does not appear on most things as a standard value, it will only appear on certain processes.
Spell Power – This is another stat that you will not be seeing anymore in the items. As mentioned above, Intellect gives spell power. The only exceptions are weapons powder which will still show the spell power stat.
Armor Penetration – Even if this statistic will not be displayed in articles, Armor Penetration is still included in the talents and abilities.
Stats Removed Completely:
MP5 – MP5 will be removed from the game completely, Holy Paladins and restoration Shamans benefit from this.
Ranks Spell – Spell grades will also be deleted. All spells will have a single classification level and adapts.
Defense – The defense is removed from the game altogether; Tanking classes are expected to be uncrittable against the bugs by simply using Bear Form, defensive posture and presence of frost or the Righteous Fury.
Master Updates:
New elements were released into the WoW forums about the Mastery system. According to Eyonix, Blizzard wants to accomplish 3 things with the new system:
- Give the players more freedom in the allocation of bonus features
- Simplify the talent trying to do too much
- Adds new stat gear level makes you better in your role.
In the upcoming patch, players will have to wait for special bonuses to the tree such that:
- First Bonus: increases damage, healing and survival
- Second Bonus: Raise a desirable stat players (usually located in Gears), such as precipitation or Crit.
- Third Bonus: Absolutely single tree. Enhanced benefit of the note found on controlling high level (85) Gears.
These are just some stat changes to be implemented in World of Warcraft new patch Cataclysm.Cataclysm Secret The New Guide To Control And Stat Changes

Lockpicking in WoW: The Rogue Guide

Lockpicking in WoW is a rogue skill. This is actually necessary under the said class for it allows one to open locked chests, lockboxes and doors. Oftentimes, many rogue players undermined this ability. For one, they can’t appreciate this and has no valuable use on their end. But unfortunately, it behaves the other way around. Like other skills such as fishing and mining, lockpicking is equally necessary.
Lockpicking acts like a profession. Initially it grants a rogue minimal skills under the said job. Thus, it is then the responsibility of the player to practice and train to continue picking locks. A specific skill level is needed in accordance to different modes of difficulty. To aid you in your quest towards this profession, there are rogue trainers who can point areas that have footlockers in accordance to your skill level.
Any rogues who desire to pursue a lockpicking profession always begin at level 1. to increase your skill you might want to get some practice locks from the different engineers to be able to increase your level. You can in fact reach until level 80 using this procedure. There are also quests to be able to help you with your leveling. Some can try the Alther’s Mill in Redridge Mountains for Alliance rogues. For the Horde can opt to go to Merchant Coast and Amani Catacombs.
To increase further your skill level, you can proceed to Desolace where you will see the Waterlogged Footlockers. You will also find the Mossy Footlockers here who can get you to level 225. If you don’t want to dive into the waters, you can proceed to Angor Fortress in Badlands. Here you will see the Battered Footlockers and Dented Footlockers. In here skill of 175 is needed for the two areas to open.
When you reach skill level 205, you can proceed to Scarlet Monastery doors. You can do this to unlock the doors however there are 3 mobs that you need to encounter. You can then repeat the procedure until you reach 225. After that you can proceed to Searing Sorge and down to the Sunken Temple to reach 255.
Finally to attain the higher levels of 300 and above, you can opt to wind up with the Reinforced Junkboxes. Another alternative is to head to Dalaran particularly in the Violet Hold door. And in addition the Feralfen Village holds the most viable place intended for levels 380 and above. It contains the doors to Karazhan, Shattered Halls and Arcatraz. Finally the Stratholme doors are intended for levels 400 that can be open to multiple attempts in a single area.
As a final note, lockpicking should be something that needs to be mastered by any rogue players in the World of Warcraft. It does not only tap unlocking doors and chests just for the sake of doing it. It in fact contains many benefits and advantages and will prove useful if you proceed to other places. Thus lockpicking in WoW must be pondered upon not only to its intended profession but with other jobs as well. Lockpicking in WoW is a rogue skill.
