Avoiding Restoration tree works if you want to have nice leveling with two trees of Enhancement and Elemental. Candidly speaking, Enhancement build is much faster as compared to the Elemental build. Needless to say, for leveling up faster, you need to choose Enhancement. You will hardly have down time if you go for Enhancement Shaman, yet instant Ghostwolf will be with you. Thus, you can save yourself from catching in the tricky situation.

Now it is the time for trying out the Enhancement build:

Shaman Leveling Build

Using only Enhancement tree is necessary. You are advised to go down the tree at your earliest and later on get back in order to fill in the other points.

First you should start with Ancestral Knowledge to increase your Intellect. Then choose Improved Ghost Wolf straight away to make it instant cast. It will save you from tricky situation and save you time in general. Put three points in Thundering Strike and then go down to Shamanistic Focus. Put two more points in Thundering Strikes and two points in Improved Shields. Now put five points in Flurry. Take Spirit Weapons and Mental Dexterity and then put another point in Improved Shields. Always keep your Lightning Shield up so you deal a lot of damage with it. It doesn’t cost mana nowadays so it’s great.

Then add two points in Unleashed Rage and three points in Weapon Mastery. If you go serially like choosing Dual Wield, Storm Strike and finally Dual Wield Specialization, you need not to miss all the time. Storm Strike can be improved by taking Lava Lash.

Take Shamanistic Rage which is great to restore some mana and Mental Quickness to improve your spell damage and reduce the cost of your Shocks and instant heals. Put five points in Maelstrom so you can actually make those instant heals, which is very nice. And finally.. Feral Spirit, you gotta love these doggies. These little puppies heal you every time they do damage, they have the ability to stun enemies, are extremely fast and they also have a taunt sort of thing. You can control the Wolves and use their abilities how you please. Together with your Elementals, Heroism, Totems etc you will have a hard time not to pawn any class if all your cooldowns are ready.

Having the Feral Spirit, you need to look at the talent tree just to choose the talents you like and fill in first. Finally, your talent tree should match with mine.

The Rogue has three nice talent trees and they all have their pros and cons. If you want to make a nice leveling build you should check out the one below because it takes a bit of all three talent trees and it will give you a lot of useful abilities and boosts to level up like crazy.

Rogue Leveling Build

You should start by putting some talents in the Combat tree. Start with Dual Wield Specialization and then go for Precision to make sure you hit a lot with both weapons. Now go for Deflection because you will encounter a lot of melee mobs and that makes 6% parry chance really nice. Skip Riposte but do take Endurance so the cooldown of Evasion and Sprint are much shorter. These two abilities are great while leveling. Now Improve your Spring and Dodge chance and finally take Blade Furry which is just great when you’re fighting two mobs at once. It increases your damage by 20% anyway for 15 seconds so even if you’re fighting one mob it’s quite good.

Now put five points in Malice at the Assassination. Take Ruthlessness and Puncturing Wounds. Do take Vigor asap because it is really nice to have 110 Energy. Take Lethality to improve the damage from your critical strikes and then go for Vile Poisons and Improved Poisons. Take Cold Blood which is a killer and Fleet Footed to increase your movement speed which is always welcome while leveling. Take Quick Recovery and then take Sealed Fate to apply combo points faster which is a nice combo with Cold Blood.

When you come out of stealth, you can take Overkill so that you can do more damage. Next to this, you can take Deadly Brew in order to avoid the menace of the runners as they will get their movement speed reduction by 70%.

For reduction of damage, you must take Deadened, while for increase in all damage done by 6%, you need to take Weaknesses.

Opportunity and Relentless Strikes from Subtlety tree are helpful in having a great leveling build.

Thus, this build helps you in gaining increased movement speed, more Energy-boosting talents, some Poison specialization, two great attacks in Mutilate and Blade Furry, ample of crit and hit rating, some Dodge and Parry chance so that you will have Sprint and Evasion improved.

The Problem with Old Leveling Guides

For as long as World of Warcraft has been in existence, the age-old question has been about the fastest way to get to the top level of the game.  The highest level in WoW right now is level 80, and when the Cataclysm expansion arrives, it will then be level 85.  Of course many WoW players love the process of questing and leveling, but there is just too much additional content to enjoy at the highest level.  Level 80 is where much of the social interaction occurs, and it is where players get the chance to get better and better gear.  This is why traditional leveling guides have been so popular.  Players want to get to enjoy that end-game content as soon as they can.
