Today’s quest helpers are so much more sophisticated today than some years ago when you only got a pdf guide to follow.

Even if there’s a built in questhelper in World of Warcraft, the non Blizzard addons have way more functions and gets you better results in boosting your caracters.

The momemt we’ve been waiting for is here! WoW Patch 4.1 will be tomorrow according to a handful of trusted sources. By the time you read this post I’m sure the US servers will be down so this post will for the most part be a “check up”  to see if you’re prepared.

Below are the top 5 things I believe will be “hot” sellers when the patch(es) are released.

Rare/Common Gems – Why? Because if epic gems come in either of these two patches you’re going to want to have enough cheap supplies stockpiled to transmute them. As of right now, some of the rare and even the common gems are selling at an all time low, this probably won’t be the case come patch 4.1/4.2. Also, new gear is on the way, and a ton of people are going to need new gems for their awesomely epic gear. I suspect that the demand for cut gems will be increased two, if not three fold.

Volatiles - Why? Again, if you’re even going to transmute any of the epic gems you’re going to need some cheap volatiles. They’re currently low-medium on my server, this will most likely change come 4.1/4.2.

Honor & Justice Points - Why? With the new addition of being able to buy Maelstrom crystals from vendor you’re going to want some honor & justice points in stock. You’re going to want to dump these asap ( patch day would be best ) to yield you the maximum gold.

Enchants - Why? New gear is coming from ZA/ZG & Firelands, people are going to be wanting to get it enchanted. Right now enchants are still relatively low, if you have some extra cash around buy some of the cheap “good” enchants to flip once 4.1/4.2 hits. You’ll also want to stock a nice pile of belt buckles and leg/spellthreads – for the same reason mentioned above. We also have the upcoming Midsummer Festival – they updated the loot tables to ilvl 353 cloaks, so cloak enchants will be in demand at the time of the festival.

Parking Alts – You’ll want to park some alts at the Cataclysm 5 man boss locations, why? Their loot tables are getting upgraded and if you’re able to find one and kill one, it could make a couple thousand gold.

Have you saved up some JP/Honor? Run on over to the vendor and buy some maelstrom crystals with that and sell them ASAP! You’ll be able to make some quick bucks if you’re the first to post! Have you parked some alts at the location of the cataclysm rare spawns? No?
Better go check on them, especially poseidus as he’ll give you the chance to drop a BOE Epic mount which can be ah’ed for thousands of gold!

Do you see any cheap elementium geodes at the auction house? Buy them and flip them! 4.1 brings new achievements as far as pets go and those who don’t already have this pet will be willing to buy this pet for a little above it’s normal price.

I hope you are prepared for this patch! If you did you could make THOUSANDS of gold selling enchants, pets, gems, spellthreads, volatile and any other item that would be worth stockpiling. So when I heard about Warcraft Conquest, produced by Max Lee, one of the founders of Warcraft Formula, I was very intrigued. This is a guy who has covered dozens of topics in World of Warcraft with an eye for detail that only an expert can have. So obviously this new guide is designed to be a very thorough look at almost every aspect of the game when you reach level 85. But, what does that mean?

After taking a look at the guide, I was surprised to find that Max covers almost every aspect of the game. He has a great starting set of videos that includes things like knowing your role, crowd control, race/class combinations, and using heirlooms to help you level up faster. He then goes on to cover each of the classes in the game, ways to make gold with both the auction house and farming, and how to get the most out of basic PVP strategies.

The real meat of this guide though is the endgame content. This means PVP guides for each of the classes, a growing collection of reputation videos, talent specializations for each class, tips for finding vanity items and the all-important legendary items, and a huge collection of videos going over everything you need in PVE to dominate high-level bosses and instances. Whether or not this guide is useful for you depends a lot on what you want to get out of World of Warcraft.
