Druid Restoration Come Cataclysm

Tier 1 consists of the blessing of the grove, nature’s focus and furor. Blessing of the grove requires two points. This can increase your healing by your rejuvenation by 2/4%. The damage of the moonfire would be 3/6% and the claw and shred by 2/4%. Nature’s focus with three points can reduce the pushback that one can suffer from damaging attacks and you can even cast healing touch, wrath, cyclone, nourish and regrowth. Furor with five points can automatically give you 20/40/60/80/100% chance in gaining ten rage upon shapeshifting into bear and dire bear form.

Tier two consists of perseverance of five points, subtlety of three points and natural shapeshifter for three points. Perseverance eventually reduces any spell damage by 2/4/6/8/10%. Subtlety reduces the threat by the restoration spells by 10/20/30%. Natural shapeshifter can reduce mana cost by 10/20/30%.

Tier three consists of the naturalist, omen of clarity and master shapeshifter. Naturalist requires five points that can reduce your healing touch cast time and nourish spells by 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5 seconds. Omen of clarity needing only a point that allows a caster to enter to any clearcasting state. Master shapeshifter that needs two points grants an effect which lasts while a druid is in its shapeshift form. Tier four contains improved rejuvenation and tranquil spirit. Improve rejuvenation requires three points that can increase the effect of the rejuvenation and the spell of swiftment by 5/10/15%. Tranquil spirit on the other hand requires five points. This in turn reduces the mana cost of the healing touch and spells of tranquility by 2/4/6/8/10%.

Tier five consists of natures swiftness and improved tranquility. The first one requires a point that allows base casting on your next nature spell when activated for less than 10 seconds. Improved tranquility of two points can then reduce threat caused by tranquility up to 100% and the damage while channeling it up to 50%.

These are just some of the druid’s restoration tier from one to five. In fact the said tier goes up to tier 11. Nonetheless the basics are presented here for your reference. Thus, you can assure yourself of the possible druid changes come Cataclysm because these are the changes in it.

Druid Review: Feral Tier 1 – Tier 5

Recently we had shown you the Druid’s tier 1 to tier 5 with regards to their Balance. Now we will move on a druid’s feral ability. As a matter of fact a druid is one of the most versatile classes in World of Warcraft. It is actually a shapeshifting hybrid class. However, they need to specialize something in order to be more effective. Due to their nature to fulfill roles, they can only perform one role at a time and must need to switch between different shapes to adapt.

Cataclysm will definitely bring more changes to druid. We will be discussing the druid’s feral ability from tier 1 to tier 5 that you can duly expect come the next expansion. There are still a lot more to cover but nonetheless let’s start with the basic.

Druid’s feral tier one includes sharpened claws, ferocity and feral aggression. Sharpened claws require two points. This can increase the damage caused by the Claw, Rake, Mangle in both cat and bear and maul abilities by 10 to 20%. Ferocity needs five points. This in turn reduces the cost of your maul, claw, rake and mangle abilities by 1/2/3/4/5 in rage or energy. Feral aggressions is equally similar with ferocity in terms of points which increases your attack power reduction of the demoralizing roar by 8/16/24/32/40% and the damage of the bite by 3/6/9/12/15%.

Tier two contains shredding attacks of two points, feral instinct of three points and thick hide of three points. Shredding attacks will reduce the energy cost of your shred ability by 5/10 as well as the lacerate ability by 1/2. Feral instinct can increase the damage that will be done by your swipe ability by 10/20/30%. In addition this can even reduce the enemies chance to detect you while in prowling mode. Thick hide gives more armor contribution from cloth to leather items by 4/7/10%.

Tier three consists of the feral swiftness, predatory instincts, feral charge and improved feral charge. Feral swiftness requires two points. This increases movement speed by 15/30% when a druid is in its cat form. It can even increase dodge chance whether in cat, bear and dire form. Predatory instincts require 3 points that can increase the damage done by your melee critical strikes by 3/7/10%. Feral change needs only a point that enables knowledge of bear feral and charge feral. Improved feral charge requires two points. This increases one’s melee haste by 15/30%.

Tier 4 consists of nurturing instinct of two points, fury swipe of three points and primal fury of two points. Nurturing instinct increases your healing spells up to 35/70% of agility and 10/20% when you are in your cat form. Fury swipes can let you gain an extra auto attack on the same target. Primal fury aids you in giving 50/100% chance in gaining five rage anytime.

Tier five consists of brutal impact, heart of the wild, survival instincts and predatory strikes. Brutal impact requires two points that can increase stun duration of your pounce and bash abilities. Heart of the wild can increase intellect by 4/8/12/16/20%. Survival instincts with one point grants a druid 30% of maximum health. Predatory strikes requiring two points will then increase your critical ravage chance by 50/25%.
