Tier 10 is the new armor set in World of Warcraft particularly associated with the Icecrown Citadel. This was released in line with patch 3.3.0. Each set actually consists of five different pieces. It currently has three ranks.  They are the lower rank, the normal ones and the heroic version. The lower rank tier 10 set pieces are also called the emblem version. They can be purchased using Emblems of Frost from different class vendors. The normal version of tier 10 is often referred to the Sanctified version or Tier 10.264. This can be bought as an upgrade from other class vendors should you have the tier 10 emblem version. These tier pieces are then upgraded by simply using a token from a 10 man heroic version or even the 25 man of Icecrown Citadel which is called the Mark of Sanctification. Several items like gloves and leg ones are also dropped by Toravon in a 25 player mode. The heroic version called the heroic sanctified is also known as Tier 10.277. This is also an upgrade from the normal or the sanctified tier. In here tier pieces are upgraded with the aid of a 25 man heroic version from Icecrown.

Regardless which level of the tier 10 is there, all of the pieces count in line with the same set bonuses similar to the earlier tiers. All of these can actually be bough from class vendors situated at Light’s Hammer inside Icecrown Citadel.

It must be noted however that Tier 20 is just an enhancement of Tier 9. Those with tier 9 can actually feel the changes but for others it may not be that apparent. Emblem of frost is the new emblem to behold. This is obtained from Icecrown raid bosses, completion of new weekly raid quest, random dungeon completion each day, from the new boss in VoA and quest chains that will be obtained from Jaina or Sylvannas. There are currently three sets of WoW tier 10 armors as stated above. They actually look the same but with different colors and ofc stats.

Let’s take a hunter’s gloves for example. The 10.0 set can be purchased with emblems of frost but you actually still need a lot of them in which each of the five pieces cost either 60 or even 95 emblems. The full set cost about 450 emblems.

Nonetheless these are just a mere introduction and the ways on how to obtain some tier 10 gears. In fact if you want to keep your character updated it is a must to get the latest tier. Thus, don’t wait and try to run for some action and obtain tier 10 gears today.
