Twin Peaks Battleground In Cataclysm

Cataclysm will definitely inculcate a lot of changes in the World of Warcraft. There would be areas and aspects that any player can definitely look forward and anticipate. As a matter of fact, I have been craving for this one as well since its announcement way back in 2009.
One definite change that we can truly see come World of Warcraft Cataclysm is the new battleground that every player will have an opportunity to be in. This is called the Twin Peaks. This is in fact a new capture-the-flag-style battleground which is situated within the Twilight Highlands features 10 versus 10. This is considered the fifth conflict amongst the Alliance and the horde.
The Twin Peaks is dominated by the black dragonflight and the Twilight’s Hammer reside. This is one crucial point for effective attacks against its dominators. But then again, two previous occupants of Grim Batol are about to take control of its defenses. In that sense the Wildhammers are now calling heroes of the Alliance to help claim the Twin Peaks and resist off the Dragonmaw orcs. Meantime, the Dragonmaw clan gives importance to the Horde. They had spent their years working to enslave the red dragons. The conflict then occurs as both of these clans want to claim back their homes. This eventually brought the Alliance and the Horde to carry out the battle to take control over the Twin Peaks.
It has been stated that the new battleground called as Twin Peaks is a capture the flag style one. This is much more like the Warsong Gulch in which players must work and fight to dominate one viable terrain and its enemy bases and steal its enemy flag returning it to their base. The idea here is that the first one to have three enemy flags before the given time expires will be proclaimed winners.
More likely the Twin Peaks will hold the same concept as the Warsong Gulch. The Wildhammer and the Dragonmaw holds different bases that are identical. The peaks are then divided by a valley river. In there, it has a single bridge that acts as a choke point but the river can nonetheless be crossed. Thus, to prevent domination, both Horde and the Alliance players resurrected in the said battleground will spawn from one of two graveyards per faction.
There are still a lot more to learn and know about Twin Peaks. Nonetheless, at least by now you already have an idea as to what it will and why this is a new battleground to try. Thus, better check this one out come World of Warcraft Cataclysm.
