New Guild System On Cataclysm

The one thing that is being looked forward in the World of Warcraft Cataclysm update is the new guild leveling system. I am pretty sure that most guild leaders along with their guild members are excited on this new system. Somehow, it can even bring a guild closer together because the presence of its members is now essential and necessary.

Just recently, Blizzard held a press event in lieu with Cataclysm. It was then that they confirmed that the Guild System will definitely push through with the next update. However there are things that they will need to get rid off. Much more, if you have been expecting some areas along with this new system, better recheck here if Blizzard is still considering it.

The recent press conference definitely brought a quite few issues and unexpected things. For one with regards to the guild system, guild talents and currency are now not being considered. If however you got gloomy about this news then there are still some good ones. Rewards and achievements are still retained. As an overall assessment, the new system will be made simplified with its promised benefits.

Guild leveling can be done in various procedures. Its members must participate in different activities like dungeon raids, boss kills, quests completion, rated battlegrounds and unlocking guild achievements. The highest level cap for a guild would be 25. Each time you and your guild reach a level all of you will automatically be rewarded with different perks.

There would be different rewards to look forward to. These can be unlocked upon earning some guild achievements. Guild members have the right to purchase these items with gold so as that they have the right guild reputation. Some rewards that you can expect are mounts with flags that will show your guild tabard emblem, tabards and heirloom. Guild reputation is earned like how your guild levels. This is on a per character basis however. Achievements are of course must be done by the guild itself. If on an unfortunate circumstance that a member will leave a guild, the guild will still be able to have that achievement. But the members who earned it will be memorialized if other guilds will happen to view the guild’s achievements. In order for your group to gain raid achievements, it is necessary to have seven men in a ten man achievement. Much more you would need 20 members under the same guild umbrella in a 25 man achievement. There would definitely be realms for guild achievement purposes.

These are just some of the minor details any guild members and leader can duly anticipate on the next update. There is still more information that was not disclosed during the recent press conference so as not to spoil the whole guild system. Nonetheless with these alone I am pretty sure that guilds will be jam-pack come World of Warcraft Cataclysm.

Cataclysm Recent Information

It was just recently that Blizzard held a press conference in line with their third expansion which is the Cataclysm. A mixed of emotions was definitely seen and read across World of Warcraft forums after the said conference. Some were disappointed while some were happy. Bottom line is everyone already wants to get their hands on Cataclysm.

If you have been looking on information as to what the press conference holds, you come to the right place. In here we will be discussing a synthesis on what was being discussed and a few ideas that were shelled out. At least these will keep us for quite some time until the real expansion arrives.

One thought that somehow made an impact from the press conference is the removal of the Path of the Titans. Since this place is suppose to be connected with Archaeology, the new profession’s focus will be on the showing of the lore of the game and also uncovering the history of Azeroth. Players can be able to find two types of artifacts. One would be the lore artifacts that can be able to teach you about the world. The second one is the cosmetic or vanity rewards. As stated archaeology is one optional profession.

Expect that World of Warcraft will have an Egyptian inspired theme. This is according to Alex Afrasiabi who is the lead designer of the world. Uldum for one will contain the Egyptian theme carrying some of the themes of Ahn’Qiraj. A cat like race will be introduced in this zone and will be referred to as the Tol’vir. Deepholm would be an Elemental Plane of Earth where Deathwing is resting. He will not be breaking into Azeroth as he will be heading to Maelstroom.

In addition, the level up experience has been overhauled. The user interface when you level up will be displayed if you will have a new talent point, when you unlock new abilities and new features like riding, glyphs use and battlegrounds. A park in Stormwind will be destroyed by Deathwing showing his impact on the world itself. Much more heirlooms will work for new goblin and even worgen characters. However, they will not past level 80. Garrosh would now be the acting warchief of Orgimmar and will move his throne room in front of it. The valley of wisdom will now become the Tauren District.

These are some of the things you can duly expect come Cataclysm. In fact there are still more under development and just waiting to be uncovered when the expansion would be integrated in the game. I know some may have been disappointed but at least Blizzard is doing their best to give us the best World of Warcraft expansion ever.

Cataclysm Date Still Unknown

Many had already been waiting and anticipating for the rise of the newest and possibly the last World of Warcraft expansion which is the Cataclysm. Since its initial announcement in BlizzCon way back in 2009, millions of players have been eager to get their hands over this one. We surely can’t blame them because this update really looks promising and phenomenal as well.

Good thing Blizzard didn’t keep us in the dark regarding Cataclsym. As much as possible they have been issuing news and updates as to the things a player can duly expect from the said patch. It has already been noted that the level cap increases from 80 to 85. In addition, there would be new professions injected in the game that can also be done by others as well. There are even new items to look forward to, new arenas and new battlegrounds.

These tidbits of information eventually keep millions of avid World of Warcraft players to their toes. I guess everyone can surely relate that they had been visiting the WoW site on a daily basis. Every time Blizzard put in some news, tendency players would really want the date of its release. And who wouldn’t? Even I can’t seem to get enough of reading the repeated updates over and over again.

To break the speculations, in a recent interview with Frank Pearce, Blizzard’s EVP of product development when asked when is the date he just stated “Hopefully. If it’s ready. If not, then we’ll hold onto it.” This somehow brings us to an even an older news during the Blizzcon 2009 in which they announced that Cataclysm is set for release in 2010. As to what specific date, it is yet to find out.

Nonetheless some news had been eyeing that we are getting closer and closer to this much anticipated update. After all Blizzard had announced some alpha and beta testing done already by their internal game testers and chosen WoW players. And I do believe that since this would be the last expansion there is, Blizzard is aiming for a near perfect and awesome update for its 11.5 million players.

That said patience is a virtue my friend. Thus, let’s just have fun with the current WoW update until Blizzard will surprise us with the said patch. After all The Burning Crusade is still being played in Mainland China and they are anticipating the Wrath of the Lich King. So nonetheless, we are still an update earlier compared to them.

Twin Peaks Battleground In Cataclysm

Cataclysm will definitely inculcate a lot of changes in the World of Warcraft. There would be areas and aspects that any player can definitely look forward and anticipate. As a matter of fact, I have been craving for this one as well since its announcement way back in 2009.

One definite change that we can truly see come World of Warcraft Cataclysm is the new battleground that every player will have an opportunity to be in. This is called the Twin Peaks. This is in fact a new capture-the-flag-style battleground which is situated within the Twilight Highlands features 10 versus 10. This is considered the fifth conflict amongst the Alliance and the horde.

The Twin Peaks is dominated by the black dragonflight and the Twilight’s Hammer reside. This is one crucial point for effective attacks against its dominators. But then again, two previous occupants of Grim Batol are about to take control of its defenses. In that sense the Wildhammers are now calling heroes of the Alliance to help claim the Twin Peaks and resist off the Dragonmaw orcs. Meantime, the Dragonmaw clan gives importance to the Horde. They had spent their years working to enslave the red dragons. The conflict then occurs as both of these clans want to claim back their homes. This eventually brought the Alliance and the Horde to carry out the battle to take control over the Twin Peaks.

It has been stated that the new battleground called as Twin Peaks is a capture the flag style one. This is much more like the Warsong Gulch in which players must work and fight to dominate one viable terrain and its enemy bases and steal its enemy flag returning it to their base. The idea here is that the first one to have three enemy flags before the given time expires will be proclaimed winners.

More likely the Twin Peaks will hold the same concept as the Warsong Gulch. The Wildhammer and the Dragonmaw holds different bases that are identical. The peaks are then divided by a valley river. In there, it has a single bridge that acts as a choke point but the river can nonetheless be crossed. Thus, to prevent domination, both Horde and the Alliance players resurrected in the said battleground will spawn from one of two graveyards per faction.

There are still a lot more to learn and know about Twin Peaks. Nonetheless, at least by now you already have an idea as to what it will and why this is a new battleground to try. Thus, better check this one out come World of Warcraft Cataclysm.

Druid’s Balance Tier 1 – Tier 5 On Cataclysm

Blizzard has been pouring in Cataclysm information almost every day. Thus, we already have an idea as to what things are we going to expect and what this next update can definitely bring us. However, their tiny specs of details are just nerve bracking that you would want to know the whole patch in the soonest possible time.

For the meantime, Blizzard has been providing us with a number of fansites along with talent previews on the different classes. As such the classes are one area that is totally revamp come Cataclysm. And this time we will be focusing on the Druids.

One major change on druids come the next update would be their Ferocious Bite. When a druid will use this on a target that has 25% below health, you will have a 50/100% chance to immediately refresh your Rip duration on the target. Much more you will also experience different changes in your talent such as Balance, Feral and Restoration.

A druid’s balance is divided into eleven tiers however we will be discussing the first five tiers here. The first tier composes of the starlight wrath and the genesis. Both of these require five points. The starlight wrath reduces your wrath and starfire cast time spells by 0.1/0.2/0.3/0.4/0.5 seconds. The genesis on the other hand will increase your damage and healing capability by periodic spell damage by 1/2/3/4/5%.

The tier two consists of moonglow, nature’s majesty and improved moonfire. Moonglow requires three points that can reduce the mana cost of the spells moonfire, starfire, starfall, starsurge, wrath, healing touch, nourish, regrowth and rejuvenation by 3/6/9%. Nature’s majesty requires two skill points that aids in increasing your critical chance strike of wrath, starfire, starfall, nuourish and healing touch by 2/4%. Improved moonfire also requires the same points like the nature’s majesty that can increase the damage of your moonfire by 5/10%. Tier 3 of the Druid’s balance consists of nature’s grace, solar beam, celestial focus and nature’s reach. Nature’s grace increases your spell casting speed by 20% for 3 seconds. Solar beam that requires one point lets you summon a beam of solar light that can silence your enemies. Celestial focus reduces damage attacks. Nature’s reach of two points can increase your balance spells ability by 10/20%.

Tier 4 consists of Nature’s splendor and lunar justice. The nature’s splendor requires only a point. This in turn increases the duration of your moonfire and rejuvenation by three seconds. It can even enhance your regrowth spell by six seconds so are your insect swam and lifebloom by two seconds. The lunar justice needs three skill points. This in turn yields experience when you kill a target. This lasts for 15 seconds.

Tier 5 have brambles, starsurge, vengeance and dreamstate. Brambles need three points that enables the damage from thorns and entangling roots to increase by 25/50/75%. Starsurge requires one point and one solar beam point. As a druid, you can fuse these powers hence launching a blast of energy at the target. Vengeance requires five points that can increase your critical strike damage by 20/40/60/80/100%. Lastly dreamstate of three points can regenerate your mana to 4/7/10% base on your intellect per five seconds.

These are just some of the new things any druid can duly anticipate once Cataclysm is updated. In fact there are still more tiers waiting to be uncovered and discovered by any druid player out there. Thus, don’t miss out this chance and be a deadly druid come Cataclysm.
